What is it?
Powder coating is a several step process of creating a beautiful smooth finish which is very firm, durable and resistant to scratches, cracking, peeling, UV rays and rust. We use an electrostatic gun to "powder coat" the surface, then special ovens to "cure" and set the finish.
Quality
Powder coating provides superior consistency and uniformity of finish without sags, drips, runs or bubbles. It provides more impact resistance, flexibility and corrosion resistance than liquid paints.
Economics
Powder coatings are a cost saving alternative to liquid paints with respect to energy savings, labor costs, material usage and waste disposal. As a result, you get a superior finish at a reasonable cost.
Environmental
Liquid paints often contain solvents, which contribute to pollution and, in some cases, ozone depletion. Powder coatings are free of such pollutants. Unused paints and paint sludge are hazardous wastes and disposed of into landfills. Our powder coating system generates no such hazardous waste. Choosing powder coating is environmentally responsible.
